cyberpunk looks quite good in the 40fps mode, barely any noticeable benefit to the 30fps mode, maybe lighting looks a bit better

Personally I loved the game, but in terms of cultural impact on the gaming landscape, it barely made a splash.
I know it’s pretentious to think this way, but this is METROID we’re talking about, a franchise with a lot of prestige even if the commercial reception doesn’t reflect that.
If Hollow Knight can be monumental in the core gaming community then why can’t modern Metroid as well?

Going into the Switch 2 era, this area of the platform ecosystem (game cartridges) was one of the main things I wanted to see improve since back in the Switch 1 era, cartridges requiring an Internet download was frowned upon.
So for them to fully embrace it this time was shocking to say the least

Nintendo had atrocious Black Friday sales. Switch 2 did get outperformed by last year's Switch 1 sales. that's insane. Inflation was there last year too

Nintendo expected NS2 to fly off the shelves during Black Friday and it didn’t, so I hope this is gonna start humbling them like it did during the Wii U era (which was basically the "panic era" with the drastic 3DS price drop and pro-consumer moves with Wii U).

All in all spent 180 for the switch and have a full library of 50+ games installed from tinfoil
