To me it all seems like evaluators/gms/whoever being scared s***less to miss out on a talent like that again without recognizing that another talent like that probably doesn't exist right now
Exactly, it’s all an over-correction in response to a talent we’ve never seen before. So now they’re squinting their eyes and going “ehh, looks close enough” and praying it works even though the chances we get something like Mahomes again is slim, especially this quickly.

Ja’Marr Chase or Kyle Pitts 🙌🏾
Need Pitts to fail a d*** test and fall to us at 14
This got us the #4 pick
He'll command your tank for rattler well

It's just like how a few years ago music labels were signing anyone with a face tat and colored dreads because they were scared of missing out on the next XXXtentacion.
Mahomes is the exception, not the rule. I can't imagine there will be a QB who does what he can do so easily for a while.

Y’all went 4-12 for mac jones

they'd need to make a new rule to get 2 balls in the game with all the weapons the Vikes would have
Exactly.

I like this comparison a lot actually
Y’all went 4-12 for mac jones
A black gm would never waste a pick on a player like that

Y’all went 4-12 for mac jones
ill take mac over tua any day
ill take mac over tua any day
Lol
if the dolphins thought he was better they'd prob pick him too
terrible org 0 trust in their QB. feel bad for him

A&M didn't even let Mond use his best weapon all year long. The most talented WR on that team had 0 catches
Mond's most glaring mechanics problem imo is the fact that he barely uses his legs at all when he throws
Josh Allen was the same way coming into the league though and he's developed pretty nicely 🤷♂️
