I actually wanna have a Sean Taylor discussion tho because I’m willing to admit I was wrong if someone can break s*** down

I didn’t watch a bunch of Washington football back then and I was like 12ish

But I do not remember him really exhibiting great coverage skills. He was more of an “enforcer” type and that style of play has basically been legislated out of the game

When I see him spoken about there is a lot of projection as to what he would of fully developed into because of his work ethic and raw ability but I don’t think that’s fair when it’s a discussion abt all time greats. Like I’ve seen people in & around the league talk about how he would of passed Ed Reed — that’s disrespectful

RIP and respect to that man’s legacy. It’s not a slight to say it’s odd for him to be in a graphic that has Reed, both Woodsons, Champ and Revis on it.

I personally believe Reed is best safety ever, but yeah...Taylor was arguably more talented and if you have questions about his coverage, go back and look at his last season lol

I see what you’re saying about disrespecting Reed by putting Taylor up there with him but he was probably just as good (if not better) than Reed was in Sean’s final season. God knows how great he would’ve been had he not been taken from us way too soon
