I mean he’s not a cinematographer or a sound editor but he certainly selects elite people because he wants to put out beautiful films lol. Nolans auteur style is unconventionally mind f***ing people w/ philosophical theory and the visual/audio style just so happens to be what he likes
Dunkirk doesn’t have the classic Nolan flare imo
