and it wont improve because no relegation/promotion and all the good players will go to europe and mls will keep being an issue
plus the cost of high level youth soccer is ridiculous, there just aren't enough academies across the country to provide the opportunities for the talented players
mls is the repository for all the latin american talents that can't get citizenship / work permits in the EU, plus the 5 yo MLS academies in the US already producing a lot of talent domestically, and with like every club having soccer specific stadiums with real grass now the product will vastly improve

mls needed a large injection of capital to get off the ground and that wasn't going to happen without franchised owners that could reasonably protect their investment
