Maxo has a growing Underground base as opposed to a non-existent Mainstream base. It's like being 5'10" or under and still making it to the NBA. It's been done, but you have to be insanely nice on every front. Maxo is a solid producer and average at everything else at best. Def Jam wasn't going to help him become a better producer or lyricist

yeah those were some of the digs he was shooting at the crowd in between songs but for what's it worth the crowd was def trying their best and showing a ton of love during and in between songs so it felt weird at the time
