programming. but i usually go super heavy w percussion and layering, peep some of my stuff on the last page lmao.

i wanna get more into chopping breaks but i just don't know where to find any and i don't wanna just use super known breaks.

i did use this tame impala break on a beat once though

damn i like your dreamy computer-y sound alot man. its very nostalgic. it dont sound like u have alot of drums on that first one. how many tracks did u do for that?

and dawg choppin breaks is mad fun i usually chop breaks and then layer them with programming drums these days. u like funk and jazz? they got hella breaks, and its easy to find obscure samples

Session view is p much live looping

    Arrangement is timeline

I like arrangement view for cause I be dropping in my samples a lot

a few of the sounds sound really similar like on a lot of those i used 2 diff hihats to give it another layer of groove w the sound.

but basically what i do is i just make a bunch of tracks, then go through my sound library and find sounds i like and then just try and use as many as i can to create weird grooves and patterns and layers.

samples by vanity has some great drum kits for that kinda sound, and a few of his kits have leaked

for that kinda style he's like all i use. mainly his nosaj thing, burial, and cashmere cat kits, which 2 of those are leaked i'm pretty sure.

his knxwledge and kaytranada kits are also good for like prelayered sounds.

and for trap stuff i just use WRLDVIEW's kits recently, they're basic ass sounds but the 808's are so nice and you can pretty much find any sound u need in his kits. and the fx are cool.

Yea bro I be using slice to midi all the time for chops (especially for the beat I made for the tournament)

You also got convert melody / harmonies that makes a midi track

Ableton fire for anything sample related

I use serato sample just to find the key of samples
