Word. I use a phaser, reverb And some delay. It definitely makes it have some more width but it gets too muddy in the mix

lmk when it comes out. I definitely want to tune in. I’ve been cranking out these sounds trying to get my own album cracking. The Roma put a damper on me actually getting my recording equipment tho.

Make sure you are panning and messing with the stereo effect. I typically have frequencies below 100 set to mono and widening the high freq (hi hats etc). Also learn to use compression/limiting. You want to bring out the quieter levels of the song so it sounds more even or "louder"
