I have several ideas. One is a latin dance project with the song I linked as the lead single. (its already up on Spotify)
I like dance music but the boom clap boom clap gets so boring so I'd wanna use exotic rhythms with future synths.
Basically Kaytranada but with Latin Dance.
I'm very critical of myself so I still dont know if its original enough
kaytra vibes for sure
Bro I spent a year studying his music. So inpsired by him, he's my fave producer ever

songs dont have to be original bro they just have to be good and thats on fact
originality does not equal success

You're completely right, I just have to force my brain to accept this fact.
I always think about how EVERYONE and I mean everyone is inspired by Dilla. But that doesn't make them unoriginal too, ya know?

i feel u, u tryna add more syncopation and layered percussions and drums, more tropical vibes wit it? sampling will get u there no prob. 70s to modern brazil and africa have a wealth of those types of rhythms to chop and sample
do u synthesize?

facts man nothing new is under the sun. pharrell and pretty much every goat would be outve a job if that werent the case fr. even he admits that he takes songs that make him feel and then makes them into his own in a creative way.

I dont really make synths from scratch scratch, I take a preset and manipulate the hell out of them.
Any links to this kind of music? I'm interested
