Where do you start when you make these beats? Do you sample or is it all from scratch and then resampling

its all from scratch.

and for these type of beats. i kinda it like bar for bar (well 4 bars) and just move thru it. sometimes ill make something and then just set it to the side and come back to rearrange it.

i look at other songs to see how the progress and implement that into my beats as well.

nothin has been resampled yet but i sometimes do that to manipulate them. i have a cool sample library with neat little one shots (like those weird voices you hear)

i do wanna learn how to make my own vocoder samples but idk how to rlly make em sound futuristic

keep it simple and add earcandy to certain parts of the beat

just put your fav songs from him into your timeline and just try to mimic the arrangements n progressions
