can't stand working in midi throughout a project, I just endlessly tweak stuff.

    Mix/master/sound design guys, I have a Q.

When I record my guitars I've been able to beef them up a bit, but I have trouble finding out how I can make them feel heavier/bigger without covering it in too much overdrive.

Start at 2:28 it's just 2 guitar parts (I assume layered?), but it sounds absolutely massive without being overly distorted. What can I do to get this type of sound

@MeechMercury I've heard your music and you're one of the only serious artists on ktt, what type of beats do you like to hop on?

    use sources other than reddit

if you want wierd snares you can just layer different Foley sounds on top of existing samples.

my drum library is mostly from a couple months of sample genie gonna hop back on soon

Splice search feature is garbage that's why lol

Om Unit's sample pack that's on splice is probably what you're looking for. So much sick stuff in there.

Om Unit is probably my favorite producer of the last ten years tbh

    random guess - octave pedal

No. I mean the chord the lead guitar is playing is an octave chord, but that's not what I'm referring to
