Alchemy is incredible as a sampler. The presets are super cool too. Stock logic stuff is fantastic imo.

People would talk about it more if it wasn't exclusive to logic. It was highly regarded before Apple bought out camel audio. PhatFX is actually the exact same thing as Camelphat, which is still one of the best distortion plugins ever.

Stock logic overdrive is a piece of sauce on drums.

I have TAL Sampler (absolutely sick) but I use alchemy a lot for sampling bass and pads because of how flexible it is.

just use what works with your workflow
