But i lowkey really f*** with some of the waves plugins like their compressors and also i always use smack attack and i always put thats particles plugin on my 2bus its really good but i haven’t used a lot of the other ones they just have way too much s*** for me to look through to use

I feel that but I just can't do it anymore lol it's not in me anymore. All that stuff I posted came from a time where I felt really lost and questioning myself and just unexcited about life.

I barely compress my drum bus

Like a ratio around 2, attack at like 40, release v fast, threshold like -18ish

Then smack the makeup until it clips (or doesn't depending upon what I want)

Little bit of camelphat on the drums bus too

A lot of getting nice drums is picking good sounds and shaping em nicely with ADSR shaping, EQ, and a transient shaper on single hits.

Drums in a sampler gang

Good drum samples and gain staging will get the drums perfect

add a very fast delay ( no more than 10ms) on a channel and it will wider your sound

Usually I just put the widener plugin (its free too I really suggest it and doesn’t effect your phase) after my verb on its send but this sounds really interesting i will be checking it out
