    Moody mann

Thats what i try telling my friend. Like bro, put whatever you want on streaming so more eyes can get on it. You only have to worry about samples if it blows up, which is a good thing anyway.

Hes so dumb he really thinks people care enough about his music to sue

Burial ain’t clearing all his samples

Nigga I’m not gonna answer everything on ktt lol you damn near the police asking all this... It’s still organic but people perception of organic can be really off where they think that they can put out a song and millions of people will hear it without them even attempting to promote it in the slightest which happens for literally nobody but they’ll try make it seem like that at least

“You can’t let a type of music you care about just become another sample-pack or genre…or it will get globally f***ed over.”

It do find it limiting half the time.

Samplings good because it gives you a reference point so you dont have to think of something original, but you can only work within that ref point of the sample.

man I really wanna get a podcast going for quarantyne season but tbh im scared im gonna get too good at it and not focus on my music
i dont want anymore distractions its my worst trait

  • Apr 6, 2020

    don't overthink it

Chop out the parts that sound cool and arrange them at bpm of your choice

I chop most of my samples (except for drums) at 172/174

If i wanna pursue this music thing more seriously I plan only posting remixes and songs with vocalists on them.

If you have someones voice on a song and it sounds good, you get way more plays than if you put out instrumentals.
Thats why Knwledge has series of remixes, his beats are fire but even he has to put someones voice over them

As a producer you should really be aiming to work with people who could sing and rap, not just putting out type beats or whatever.

Theres a website that runs through spotify where you can even pay pretty talented vocalists to get on your track. They usually ask to be uncredited.
But it does help you prove yourself as a producer
