There's a 0% chance I'd remotely get close, but I think it's a sampled bass guitar with subtle bitcrushing, a scream filter at some point, drive, compression, etc. This bass works well because the entire song seems to be mixed around giving the bass a groove.

They probably ran it through an akai and various distortion pedals.

But yeah the production of Justice's stuff still holds up today

Tbfh if you're source sound is good you don't need a fancy daw. So much good electronic music was written by using early versions of logic/FL/acid pro and just using the DAW as a sequencer. Couldn't load up a bunch of softsynths on a computer with a gig of RAM
