Dude thats the same with me i started in 2014 and put nothing out yet i put something out in 2018 actually but took it down soon after because it went on someone else’s page and the mix wasn’t right so the volume regulation systems just completely ruined the track haven’t tried again since

started in 2016, got serious in 2017 and been working on my album since then.

Also before you release anything make sure to upload it with distrokid and set your release for a month in advance because this gets it to the Spotify editors and they can put it on playlists if they like it and if they do makes a complete total difference in the streams that you’d get without it

I f*** with it but i say you should give things some more groove and not put everything on just the down beats. Id offset the bass a bit so its not hitting right on them

I wouldn’t pay attention to the technical too much

I good way to start getting into different habits on how you structure your beats is to remake your favorite songs and youll catch nee habits of doing drums and bass and stuff. Keep remembering to offset thing off of the downbeats tho it makes a big difference
