i find myself getting more and more annoyed with this whole "beat made in 5-10 minute" trend, anyone else?
it's not that they use loops or anything (i use loops all the damn time) but i don't like when the beat itself is just looped and sequenced by taking a couple things out here and there
i've been doing like 3-4 808 patterns per song, different percussion throughout.. every 4-8 bars is different. takes longer, but so rewarding. and then a beat switch.
how have y'all been switching it up lately?

sometimes simplicity is best
gotta give artists room to be creative as well

People been saying this for the last couple years and as a result all beats use the same elements. I’m not saying have 7 different rims, just change where they hit every so often to keep it interesting
Ableton Live 10 Lite is currently free. You just need to make an account (no email verification) and you get a serial. Offer good til 12/31 splice.com/daws/38929163-live-10-lite-vst-by-ableton

Yo gonna keep it real, just saw Ableton 11 coming out, so i'm trying to sell my old FL Studio producer license to cover upgrade cost. Willingly to work something out for 100 through cash app and switching account info over to someone if they want it.
Y’all know where I can find the snare from Christopher Walking/RIP SCREW/YOSEMITE?
Is an audio interface worth it?
Looking to buy. Never used one but ive heard that its a must have.

Wdym?
Like when you sample and there's a harsh frequency? You could do subtractive eq or whatever its called and make a sharp peak down on the frequency
Or (if you have fl) open edison and denoise it
