I was surprised to see this thread is still open after waking up from a convincing dream of it being locked.

So, so far I was producing music just to release it myself.
Talked to several people and they told me I should put up a Beatstars to sell some.
Now since I haven't sold/bought a beat on Beatstars in my life I don't really know if they're there yet qualitywise or what exactly the standard on there is.

So maybe you can help a brother, this is one I was thinking of selling

And thanks for the feedback, you're not the first one telling me to 'make more space for vocals' lmao. It's a bad habit because I've been mostly producing instrumental music so far without any intention of having people on the tracks. Guess I'll just have to find out by trial and error what's 'too much'.

what would be the best microphone to buy in order to record vocals for around a 100 dollars. gonna buy 2 of them tbh.

I'm juggling between the blue yeti , shure sm58, and the audio technica at2020.

at2020 fo sho i had that, recorded 1st project wit it, rap wit autotune too

I said this another thread: room acoustics are MUCH more important than the microphone is.

Recordings will almost never sound professional without treating your recording space.

100% , when i got foam it canceled out all nasty room noise

some of y’all coulda got a beat placement on clb if you just worked harder at your craft and took this s*** more seriously
