Love Philter surely a great thing tho!
While I'm in this thread anyways
Not really sure if this needs more percussion to make it slap harder or if I should just leave it like it is, what y'all think?
Not even sure what genre I could label it as either loool
im like 10 seconds in and this sounds amazing we should work, i rly like the atmosphere/melody here. rly would love to put some drums on that lmao

Does anyone have experience composing orchestral sections in a DAW
Tips? How can I get the most natural sounding instruments?
I’m chopping from various classical songs... it’s tedious
Are those layered kicks or gliding 808s in the chorus? (those triplets)
How tf do you do that? They drop hella hard. I've been trying but I'm not getting it, maybe I don't have the right drum sample dunno it seems pretty basic tho.

ANA such a dope synth
I forgot I have that synth lol... I've never used it but it came with my Slate All Access Pass subscription

Yea I should probably cop that they supposedly have some of the best software
ok jazz theory is f***ing confusing
im cool with everything up to 7th chords. once you start throwing in the bass clef and talking about 9th chords and sus chords and inversions it gets pretty insane
its so easy to just start making s*** and forget about the theory. but that stuff is so powerful at the same time, learning cool progressions and how to bend the rules
I don't really produce but
I was messing around earlier and made this

Do you seriously not produce that much? I can only imagine what you're capable of if you got more into production.
Great blend of jazz, electronic, lo-fi and hip-hop elements

Thanks for listening to it and nah I don't really that's the first thing I've done by myself this year. I appreciate the kind words tho
I updated it a bit
I just feel like the time cost for production is unjustified, no one really listens to anything im doing, feel like it's more advantageous to fixate on mixing for the time being
someone sample the intro of this

clyp.it/pihebjxw Y do I sound like destroy lonely
