this card has honestly been less interesting to me than apex slop. it's cool they're in a new location, signed a bunch of local talent and there's been a lot of finishes but so many of these fights have just felt pretty meaningless

paul hughes must be fuming, if he doesn't sign to ufc within 2 years it would be tough getting that championship even if he eventually makes it there - he's 29

lowkey feel like he's one of the guys who won't ever sign to the ufc. he f***ed up his knee in april and probably won't fight until next year. if usman does leave then I imagine they'd try to extend hughes' contract before his next fight to lock him down for the future. usman leaving would be a huge hit to mvp/pfl (and their relations to the dubai), it'd pretty much be on dakota and hughes to carry the brand, especially with eblen pretty much being public about his ufc aspirations.

ufc also don't have much of a reason to give him a bag like they do usman or dakota, only the hardcores who are in deep know about hughes
