He kinda pulled the same thing Max did when he moved up to LW to challenge Poirer the first time. All max did was eat more and not have to worry about cutting weight lol. He didn’t really add much muscle. We saw how much better Max looks when he actually focuses on strengthening his frame and putting legit weight on.

I think he’s screwed against guys like Gane and Tom. Volkov can sometimes be low output and he’s not exactly a KO machine. But his length would definitely give Alex problems. Hokit is smaller so Alex has a shot there. Blaydes is kinda washed and is heading towards where Derrick is. If Hokit can piece him up I can see Alex having success.

He’s definitely not getting the title, so if that’s his goal then yeah HW is a done deal.
