i mean i guess it is a shot to the back of the head just indirectly

not really the same though, you can stop yourself from getting slammed by either unlocking your legs or using an underhook on the leg on the opposite side of the lock and then the other guy can't pick you up and slam you. underhooking the leg is literally day 1 bjj stuff cause slamming is such a serious threat even with arm bars from guard. if you choose to do neither of those things then you're taking the risk of getting slammed. i'm sure kazama knows the defenses, it just happened very fast
