Nah that was a legit KO on an illegal shot. He was out. Shoulda been a DQ
That upkick should be legal i don’t care what anyone says.
So last week we had this style of kick in the Pena fight, but this week it was the same but the guy was also down because his knee was on the ground
And normally the kick from last week would’ve been legal but since it was in New Jersey it was illegal?
feels like it should be a dq tbh
Oh yeah wtf

I don’t think any commission lets them do that lmao they just let it slide sometimes, it’s usually not a big kick

a knee on the mat makes you a downed fighter even in the new rules. in the old rules you could put a hand down on the mat and be considered a downed fighter and new rules got rid of that, you have to have something other than your hands and feet on the mat to be considered down
the ref last week took a point immediately cause he's a former fighter. the reason it's confusing is cause the refs can basically do whatever they want when there's a foul and there's no consistency

But last week Kayla wasn’t downed, right? Like that upwards kick is what’s illegal and they gotta kick like little babies and s***

Damn i thought about betting on menifield but i didn’t know enough about Sy and kinda fell for the hype on everyone saying he’d win. Dude looks like he’s having a hard time with the timing and distance. Hes waiting too much to bait out menifields big right
