I’m the same way, but Mach knows good and well how his business model works. I’m sure he makes wayyyy more by just selling his album to a few people for insane prices then he would by just putting it on streaming

you know i wanna disagree, but i find it hard to do so because if it wasnt sustainable (for him) he probably wouldve changed the method a while ago
i still think $10 albums is healthier than $1,000 albums buts that just from the perspective of a normal nigga

I don’t think it’s just about the financial gain for him though. Using that strategy built up the mystique and notoriety of his projects. Maybe ‘gimmick’ is not the right word to use, but it’s good marketing.

mach might do it to a point where it’s super expensive but even roc marci be dropping kind of pricy physicals and he did $40 purchase for mt marci before he put it on streaming. divino and other underground folks be selling projects for like $100+ too. mach just realised he can make way more
