What I figured out late last year is that the Fahim & Mach relationship not going anywhere; at the end of the day Fahim is still a dope producer. Mach has gravitated to some top tier beatmakers from Fanon -> Daringer -> Fahim.
Though I crack at Fahim now and hate his current direction, I can never ever take away the year him and Mach has in 2017. One of the best I ever seen in all of Hip Hop. Which is probably why my defense mechanism goes up when he’s brought up, even though he fell off lmao.
I also keep thinking had he released like four to five projects a year, instead of 20 to 30, he would be on a lot of people’s favorite artists list

Such an underrated producer. Halycon Days is one of the best beats I've ever heard. For me he's best as a producer.
But YES imo he has to be way more selective with his projects and output. On the one hand it's obviously impressive that he's released like well over 100 projects, but like, only a small handful of them are worth revisiting.
