Imo all his projects are 10/10. no hyperbole. Im speaking only for myself of course. But i havent heard anything less than extremely high level rap

• Months of hype (and again, not normal Mach hype, Droog literally saying s*** like it’s a cross between HBO and WKJ)
• Nine tracks
• TIDAL exclusive
• Coolest beat used for an interlude
• “Clout Dracula” was divisive to begin with (and continues to be so)
• First year in a while (and the first one in most people’s fandom) where he only put out one project, and it was EP-length

In a vacuum? Fine project. In the context that was created around it, for people who had been anticipating it? A tad underwhelming.

I just went and listened to his entire discog over the course of a month or 2. Literally nothing but mach, from 04 to now just soaking in as much as i can

As special as it was having become a fan in the middle of the 2017 run, I do sometimes envy people who got into him after Pray for Haiti, that you all have all of this great music to listen to, and you all even get to check out Luh Hertz and The GAT immediately if you want

Yup , i became a light fan he dropped the earl produced tape. But didnt really get into him till he put HBO on streaming that was the s*** that had me scrambling for anything mach related lol.

And yeah, i had an unbiased view of him without any context. Didnt check out any reviews or anything. Im glad for it cause he prob wouldnt be so impactful for me if i had said context. This dude superhuman in my perspective lol

HBO is also what really hooked me. I started with Hommy Edition and liked it, but HBO made me need to hear it all, forever, until there’s no more of it.
