I’m listening to Billy Woods’ Mugabe album for the first time and good god this s*** is hard. I vibe with this a whole lot more than his new s***.
That track Freedman Bureau is hard as s***.
And the b****es brew sample on sour grapes

    that album is nasty

CRACKERS STILL WIN EVEN IF THEY LOSE, LIKE ROCKY

listen, 90s is cool and all but goddamn I sometimes think abt how grateful I am to share the same timeline with ppl like mach and woods in their prime. there's no point in sweating it but aint that a small blessing

honestly im not sure. his first three solos are super abstract and kinda dark & paranoid, sound isn't as pristine (if u could call Spongebob that) as on Hiding Places. at some parts of History Will Absolve Me (the Mugabe one) he legit sounds insane. still tho Today I Wrote Nothing (the next one) is one of my favorite albums ever and man wrote some f***ing nasty hooks.

“SHPSHFTR” is my favorite track on The Spook. “Yeezy Taught H.E.R.” was an early favorite of mine of his. “Kawsality” is also great.

I don’t understand why they haven’t reviewed anything of his. I guess they’re just not that into him, which is crazy to me but to each their own. Their wrong, disappointing own.

I still enjoy hearing his opinion, much as I happen to usually disagree with it. Which Mach project do you think would bump most in Feefo’s whip?

Five digits for art is too rich for my blood but I feel the homie! I follow the history pricing of art and if you look at the price of George Condo's pieces (MBDTF cover) before Kanye brought it to mainstream they were going for $33,000; now he's selling 5 million dollar pieces easily today. The dude who did the NWTS Drake cover, Kadir Nelson, his pieces are going for $300,000 when he used to sell $100 and $500 pieces.

Yeah it’s understandable, that’s the only way to make a living as an artist like that I’d imagine. Couldn’t be me tho
