this dude droog a lame lol hadda unfollow bro on twitter for a few days

Yeah can’t get behind it all, sad to see

Reeks of suppressed emotion and bitterness from the Fantano score

    Very sad to see

Wish Mach would shake some sense into him, f*** even as a day 1 I’d walk up to him and do it myself

Like we know you’re better than that, guy. You’re a cerebral writer, a keen observer, and display your own sensitivity on occasion (unwittingly)

The blocks are plausibly a gimmick marketing strategy (haha look at this guy BLOCKING his FANS lmao thats so counterintuitive check this out) but it’s childish and borders on disrespect

And +1 to some Earl comments

He should stay taking chances and going ‘abstract’ - respect him greatly for this - but he needs to polish it. And to act less sloppy. His image follows him in this genuine, endearing way but

You really, REALLY wanna start a commendable wave? Don’t ride the youth’s nihilism for a full album. Inspire instead. See Mach. It’s unfair of me to put this here because it’s something I want to broadcast to all artists; Earl just brought it to mind and he’s no longer so guilty of this. Yet there are hints he’s capable of so much more.

I don’t think he ever liked Fantano even before he started reviewing him, and c’mon, anyone who didn’t know Mac Miller personally crying over a new song of his on camera is pretty corny, and as far as the backlash from it, how’s he supposed to deal with people coming for him who probably thought Igor was the best rap album of 2019?
As far as other stuff, I think he’s just weeding people out who he doesn’t feel understand him. Mach chooses to do it with exorbitant price tags, Droog elects to do it via social media.

    What this mean

Extremely inflated ego for what he is when his lyrics are only passable and his only selling point is an overly consistent discog.

I feel like West is underrated as far as that trio. He can’t freestyle or whatever (even though the other two are just reciting written stuff when they do radio shows, no?) but none of his verses have ever made me skip to the next song. And I know this isn’t totally part of the rapping argument but he does have the highest number of good projects out of anyone over there.

West is absolutely the best and most consistent of the 3. He’s got the most unique sound and style of them too, obviously. When I first heard dude spit I remember thinking, who squeezing his nuts in the booth? His voice really sound like that? Buts it’s really grown on me. The more you start to mock his voice and his bars the doper it gets. My boys and I would be walking around campus going “flip you like 3 cheese lasagnas BRRRRRRRT DOOT DOOT DOOT” and s*** was od funny until we REALLY started listening and realized s***, this dude can really spit too

He sounds like a girl the first time you hear him. His and Fahim’s ego trip s*** doesn’t really bother me. I’m fine with unorthodox rappers saying “fuck you, I’m the best ever”. Get your s*** off, whether I agree or not. F*** it; especially if I don’t agree. Stand on your art.

Agreed. If you really believe you’re the king of NY then move that way until someone proves you wrong. Do I agree that he’s the best rapper in NY? F*** no. But he’s got the attitude for it and he’s not far off.

Whether I like his rapping or not, Fahim has a pretty dope career and can talk s***. As far as we can tell he’s making a living making the exact type of music he wants to be making, and his big homie is the actual best rapper ever. You can argue that he’s only making a living by releasing a million projects a year but I definitely feel like this guy would have been trying to put out a million albums a year no matter what era he was around in. I also f*** with his given reason for dumping: there will simply invariably come a time when he won’t be able to put out anything anymore.

far as fantano goes, the s*** was a live reaction and he's cried before when he reviews a dead person's music like when he reviewed ventura, I guess the lyrics just hit harder when a person ain't there no more, regardless if you think it was corny I don't think he faked it so who cares

He definitely faked it. He put it in the thumbnail and even talked to himself like it’s a school play. It didn’t seem legit at all.

What album did this song land on? I've been wondering about it since Earl and Knxwledge played it on their red bull radio sessions.... and that was like 3 years ago. Help!
