This is ancient mythology/folklore so there's no definitive version. The first surviving version is from Hesiod, but there are other extant tellings. You'll be able to find translations, originals, sumaries etc without much difficulty probably even a good video on YouTube even but I've heard good things about Stephen Fry's recent book Mythos which covers the Prometheus myth and a bunch of other famous ancient Greek myths if you're interested in Mythology as a whole
