H.B.O. is Mach’s best imo. Dumpmeister isn’t even top 3 for me

Good question
definitely The Sheik. That flow was so clean
My boy just told me the way I rap gives him Mach vibes
Rap it out of your system now so you don’t end up in Written Testimony territory, haha

Exactly
My boy just told me the way I rap gives him Mach vibes
Not an insult b. Try and develop your own style but sneak the odd “flip you like turnips on Monday morning”

If you’re in love with Marchisio’s style condolences

No doubt. I try not to talk about s*** I've never done, but I wanna throw in just one "flip you like blueberry pancakes"
any old heads out there? got a question
for a while ive been calling Mach the DOOM of the 10s but I cant exactly drive that point home bc Ive not seen much perspective from people who were there when it was happening.
from you or your older friends experience, was DOOM's presence, short/long-term influence and popularity comparable to what mach is doing now? (ill throw cult status, ties with industry and rappers rapper status in so you could see why that connection was made in the 1st place)
I feel like I asked that before but hey I figure more people are here now

The cult drive is almost identical in Mach’s case as to DOOM’s. Most people who listen will immediately recognize their lyrical talent and everything else that sets them apart from other popular acts of their time, but some write them off as boring or dusty or whatever for no reason other than not listening to them enough to be able to form an actual opinion.
DOOM’s influence is much more prevalent these days than ever I think, but it’s not always obvious to untrained ears. There’s a whole lot of monotone rap over soul loops and boom bap drums today and imo it’s only as popular as it is because of him. He brought a certain level of abstraction and spontaneity that kept the genre alive and essentially birthed neo-dust. Mach brings the same things to the table in even more interesting ways. Plus the whole anonymity thing, which was harder for DOOM because lots of people already knew him as Daniel Dumile from KMD.
I make the comparison between these two a lot as well, it’s a good way to introduce Mach to fellow dustheads
@Wahi
WTF, 200+ pages for Mach and I ain’t even peep?
This more than the Griselda one, where the f*** I’ve been
