Alright, last I’ll harp on this but someone over in the Written Testimony thread is even asking why Jay-Z’s verse sounds unmixed on a song, a complaint we’ve seen levied at Mach many a day.

Jay E is what Mach would rap like if he studied scripture instead of language tbh. Saying he’s “antisemitic Mach” is an oversimplification.

I don’t even think Elec sounds like Mach, that’s all Hov.
I was half-kidding about the antisemitism. People are mad about the “synagogues of Satan” line and the Louis Farrakhan samples.

Also wouldn’t necessarily classify Mach as someone who hasn’t studied scripture? He was raised Catholic and seems to have knowledge of/interest in a few different religions.

Another rapper whose debut album has been coming soon since the early 00’s. He was on El-P’s Def Jux label throughout just about its entire life span and has still not put out more than a few songs. He’s good, though, and I believe was an actual Lo Life.

No album out and he opened for Vampire Weekend when they played Madison Square Garden last year, which is some Mach s***, haha
