Album strikes a sweet balance between the vocal mixing on his formative projects and his post MHL config. Don’t know if I’m faithfully articulating my interpretation of what I’m hearing but there’s this airtight dynamic pressure among the instrumental & vocals that feels immersively cozy.

I’m very happy with the result, Elijah Hooks did a great job dialing in on that

I love that he’s leveled up his post-production on these latest LP’s but, and I doubt I’m alone in this, man I miss the blown out Apple earphone mic vocal chain and dirty chops. I realize it had to be done for exposure purposes, but the old gritty Mach mixing will always reign supreme
