Mach (to me) is like Mos Def on steroids.
Black on both sides >>> Mach-Hommy’s whole life
Edit: so is The Ecstatic for that matter

Idk man, Mach is right there with Mos in terms of impact; He also has the better pen. Mos can definitely sing and freestyle better though.
In terms of discography? Mach’s 2017 run alone has Mos beat

I feel like he’s his spiritual successor
Kinda like MF DOOMs spiritual successor was Earl
Droog reached way too hard for that ‘dog in him’ punchline. No one should ever say anything like that on a song. Could work but way too high a margin for error. Droog didn’t clear it
Bro been a try hard his punchlines always been weak jabs bro sound like a dollar general MF DOOM

Impact is a stretch bruh.

Nah in fairness he has a lot of great lines but yeah when he tries too hard it falls flat often

Have we ever even heard Mach freestyle?
Just amazing right there with PFH and might just be better
So happy this lived up to the hype
Xerox clat is very informative as someone still trying to look into what has been happening in Haiti tbh

"Black on Both Sides" is def a classic, but people make it out to be the greatest s*** of all time.
It's aight & it's one good album.
"The Ecstatic" was decent too.
But most of his solo discog's meh.
Mach's waaaaaaay more consistent & his pen game's unfuckwitable.
Mos is def a great but Mach's approaching Top 10 territory (for me)
It's cool to agree to disagree.
But Mach's music is just more up my alley & hasn't missed to connect with me yet.
