I know this is probably Rostrum pushing this release but mac's estate gotta know how much love a faces release would get. A prince sign o times style re-release with multiple discs featuring bonus unreleased song would be the biggest salute to the fans they could possibly do. would drop some serious money for that.

if they dropped faces with all the samples in tact, remastered that s***, that artwork on like a gatefold with the inside being dome new artwork spanning the folds, maybe like 3-4 discs, if theres an extra side throw in balloonerism b-sides or something. Would be incredivle but i cant get my Hopes up. and i dont cop bootlegs so idk if ill ever have a faces vinyl maybe one day ill break

As far clearing the samples for faces I don't think it would be THAT hard. The samples aren't really THAT hard to track down or out there where they couldn't find the original artists and I doubt a lot of them would decline clearance. Interviews samples aren't impossible. The movie samples might be a bigger issue but still not impossible. I feel like Mac's estate would keep mac's music in the same state he left it in and would do there best to get everything cleared.

id cop instantly. That dvd is a great idea. Make it like a boxset type deal. Photo book or something.
