part of me wants to say that mac & ty project ended up turning into that dvsn & ty album coming up and there will be more mac features on that album BUT im probably wylin.

so i consider myself a mac stan in all honesty, i just recently came across a f*** load of leaks from him, i had never once heard of balloonerism. anybody have any info on that? allegedly it’s from faces era and even more allegedly he had told his people to release that album if he passed away.

The idea of it being a project Mac planned to be released once he passed was just a fan theory that spread around the mac sub-reddit and fans just started spouting it as fact. Some of the songs are unfinished and some of the songs ended up on other projects. the likely hood that he would want a scrapped unfinished album he made 4 years before his passing as his final goodbye is unlikely and im confident this was never planned to be released after his death.

Having to clear all of the samples for that tape must be a nightmare and expensive tbh

maybe a few of the movie samples are expensive but besides that it should be fine as long as there fine spending some money.

only issue i can think of is he got sued for the sample for therapy back in the day so maybe theres an issue with getting that one officially cleared now.

whenever I hear Do Not Sleep i always think about that clip from his CRWN interview where he talks about how deep he gets into making a song hours on end creating a world within the song then he wakes up the next time and is like what the f*** is this s***.
