i wouldnt no because its a lot of it is legit misinformation. and thats not sensible to lie to people.
and the propaganda led to situation where far more people die from a toxic d*** supply, than the d*** they wanted itself. which you can pretend is not the case, but it is and thats a much worse situation.
id rather more people use it and survive, than less use it and more die. and decriminlization generally doesnt correlate to higher usage rates anyway. and the propaganda aspect is seperate from the legality of it, even though theyre intertwined
I would say that like if only 2% of people are using recreational opioids for example, that’s pretty damn good. 98% success rate is hard to achieve in almost everything else

also opiate abuse is so stigmatized i would be wary of assuming on polls only 2% of people admit to abusing them. not that its secretly half of people of something. but I doubt that 2% number is accurate

we did in portugal worked out pretty well theres actually.
and if we are comparing death to the other issues, yes its way worse obviously bruh what.
and the other issues with them can be minimized through large and complex changes to minimze the conditions that drive people to abuse d**** irresponsibly. which again u dont belive which is fine lol
