There's a mindset where people who will regularly participate in a community every day for hours a day don't want to be seen as though they have a serious attachment to that community
Then there are people who just genuinely enjoy that type of engagement and consistently post like that. People see those people get engagement for those posts so they copy them. The people who were already in that community don't want to be seen as dorks that take it overly serious so they don't complain about the behavior.
Eventually no one has a discussion anymore and the thread turns into a couple meme posts every couple of hours from the same 5 people

Many feel that VZ should be a place of serious discussion. Many feel that tnght is full of mean spirited engagement.
Perhaps the answer is to post in tnght so that the real work can be done in vz planner. The work of planning vz events and activities.
