Well there's no death sentence where she did the crime as far as I'm aware so this wouldn't make her die even if she was found guilty
And she did seemingly make a genuine effort to kill herself (deep cuts on the wrists, jumping from the window)
I'm pretty she was just genuinely crazy at the time to a degree

Because there was legitimately no incentive for her to want to kill her kids outside of the extreme mental illness symptoms she was experiencing
Its definitely not as far as the "she's innocent!!!!" People go though
In moments of extreme frustration, I sometimes get the passing urge to field goal kick my kid across the room. I would never act on it obviously but having to deal with three young kids 24/7 could definitely push someone predisposed to do what she did
