People could even watermark real videos to make people think theyre not real.

I dont know what the actual solution to the problem is, I do think having ai companies have to have some kinda indicator something was made by them, even if its removable etc, it a very reasonable requirement that likely will do more good than harm. or we need some other ai program that can detect ai to a high level iof accuracy.

Letting it rip without some kinda guardrails in place isnt the wisest or cautious route people should be taking. even if the solutions are massively imperfect.

hopefully as the technology improves, there will be enough people that think like me and a demand for something to alliveate this is created and becomes profitable lol

it could happen, thats certainly the image these companies are projecting to investors and why theyre burning so much money on it.

can the usa power gird even handle the amount of energy the data centres would need to do this though? will ai reach a point where it plateaus and its not at a place thatll make back the hundreds of billions spent on it?

i think its more likely the ai bubble will eventually pop and then we will afterwards for real see how far the tech can go and whats really up with it
