obviously you shoudl serve out a large portion of what would be your prison sentence in a ward, because the risk of it coming back is always there and youre too much of a danger to society to take the chance

I feel like that’s a case of acute psychosis where it would be fair to acquit someone completely and free them.

I feel like that’s a case of acute psychosis where it would be fair to acquit someone completely and free them.
i think any case of psychosis where the delusions were significant, warrants someone to be put in a ward for 25 years if they murder somebody.
but i assume youre talking here they just completely go free.
But even if it’s a d*** induced psychosis like you describe, once you snap, theres a pretty high chance of it happening again, even if u never do d**** again. so theyre still a danger.

How'd you do that.
Have a script set up to run 24/7 on fly.io. It checks my last.fm for the "now playing" song every 10 seconds, if it's the same, it does nothing, but if it changes, it updates my banner to show the new song, and moves the song that was playing previously down to the "last played" list below "now playing". The album cover grid on the right side of the cover is updated once an hour and shows my top albums for the last 7 days.
The process is optimized to the point that the fly.io usage is free.
The way it updates the banner is via a token that's logged in to my KTT2 account, but stored as a "secret" and stripped of any other cookies or chrome data so no one can exploit it.
I thought about making an easy bootstrapper that anybody on KTT2 could download that would set it up for them without having to mess with any technical stuff, but I figured S or Sab would shut it down if half the site was sending thousands of banner update API requests every single day

i think if they did them on their own accord send them to the ward too because its a health issue that needs to be treated and prison isnt the palce for it. theres no morality in the cause of psychosis, the issue is their in it.

Yes but d**** are known to induce temporary psychosis. If someone is spiked and taking those d**** without awareness, it makes psychosis much worse. They can’t be held culpable.

but when you go into psychosis, regardless if it was because of a d*** or not, all of a sudden theres a very high chance of them having another one. less so if it was d*** induced, but still significant. thats a danger to the public, the person has violent delusions. so they should go to a ward.
