I woudlnt go grave robbing like he did but def would look at formaldehyded cadavers. sometimes univeristies let artists sit in on med student stuff with them and let them sketch. id do something like that.
they freak me out a lot though, but i would force myself to do it.back then drawing was more of a science and meant to figure out how the body works, I dont need to know anatomy inside and out like that, just things that are visible for the most part

ive seen them and handled them before as a kid but i wasn’t drawing back then. it was in like science camps

its not like the most useful thing either because I really am studying how bodies move and how the muscles change and relate to eachother with movement, which a dead person doesnt help much with.
its why a lot of anatomy books for med students are useless to artists, but massage therapy books are very helpful

being mentally ill can def be expensive becuase of the decisions it forces to make in life and that can def be more than therapy
