e tWhen everyone wears the same exact thing, it prevents clothing from becoming a marker of wealth or dividing people into groups based on clothing being an identifier. That’s essentially the entire point of uniforms
Also like in school or at work this never made sense because like you are consistently around them you find out more about them regardless of what you all are forced to wear and then this happens anyway
