Hey, wait had me initially confused cause of the first few panels just felt like random interactions with no real ties to each other so it put me off a bit but then when the death came around it started to make sense. P sad story overall with how his life turned to be due to the loss? And the end with the old guy asking him to close his eyes to perhaps indicate life just...moves on :han:

I liked I killed hitler slightly more cause of the sweet/sad story with the couple in between the sillyness of time traveling to the past. Its funny how regardless if hitler lived or died nothing rlly changed in the present. The art overall rlly gave a sense of ''silence'' for both these stories. Like both could perf go as mini silent films.

these are 2 of my fvaourite comics we have read so far in the club. the dead simplistic and deadpan delivery of the panels. the first story, hey wait, was so sad. But it was done so artfully and concisely. I think it really captured the feeling of a path of life a lot of people fall into, where something tragic happens to them when theyre younger and it pulls a dream away from them.

the hitler one was I think even better. how you can mix in a world where murder for hire is legal and a hitler time machine. then make a comic about cutting off loved ones, grief of aging, regrets etc. is kinda bonkers. its so whacky but works so well.
