Lowkey no one would ever think that was ai
no its very good.
the big flaw is that the lines they used to shade the tux dont wrap around the form and instead they are straight lines, which flattens out the form a lot. but a lot of succesful artists are lazy and do this anyway so its not a tell of ai.

do u like specific type of paint
r any of the famous artists overrated to u
yes.
salvador dali i think has weak compositions even though his aesthetics and character design are phenomenal. and his eccentricities came off more like branding than authentic.
I think the canadian fine art movement is extremely weak on a whole outside of indigenous art.
There are a LOT of famous living artists on instagram that really dont impress me. I could argue that the having the full package, of making videos and stuff that work on instagram is part of the art and is kinda performance art. which is fine and i respect. but if we are talking just the canvas a lot of it is weak
yes.

yes.

yes i dislike linseed oil paints with a passion. you need harsh chemicals to use it and its a nuissance.
i only use walnut oil based oil paints. which is basically edible and you dont need any harsh chemicals except in really specific stages and in small quantities.
i dont like acrylic because i dont have time to rework it before it dries and its purpose is kinda null now that theres digital art (acrylic was really for advertising and illustration to make lower quality paintings really quick)
the way u called it performance art u might as well have called them performative "artists"
performance artists (derogatory)

the oil in oil paints can be any oil.
most people use linseed oil as the oil but thats not what they did in the rennaisance, its a modern thing.
walnut oil is a lot nicer to work with and is exactly what they used back then
It’s overrun by rich people who know nothing about art, propping up garbage and artificially inflating its value to evade taxes.
digital art and other mediums like manga and street art being recognized as high art is a great thing and awesome shift.
there will always be amazing artists in the fine art world who do amazing things, but theyre diluted by the corporitization of it.
a lot of modern art people dismiss as hokey does have real value
there is an oversaturation of more abstract/modern art and there is a shift back to realism adjacent genres rn
what is the difference between "high art" and low art to u
