im fr going to sleep after this

    But long story short long....

After digging for ages and only finding like 2 of their releases saved anywhere online, I stumbled across a link to the russian social media platform vk.ru, which is more or less like facebook over there, but it also serves a music streaming platform that's somewhat of a cross between Soundcloud and Spotify. Lo and behold, users on there were uploading the now-deleted Citadell stuff to VK Music as it dropped on Soundcloud

So I think "no big deal, just google VK music downloader". Turns out such a tool basically doesn't exist, or if it does, it's borderline impossible to find because there's a popular, unrelated tool called vkmusic

"Alright, that's fine, i'll just use a web audio extractor" - but VK only exposes preview snippets of the songs if you're not signed in

"Okay, I'll make an account with a burner email" - VK requires a phone number

"Alright fine, I guess i'll put in my number idrc what the Kremlin does with it" - VK says all foreigners must register in the app

Go to download app- delisted from the app store about a month ago due to sanctions

Tried a mountain of other things that I won't get into, but at the end of the day, I ended up buying credentials to a pre-existing VK account on a shady website, which could only be purchased via an untraceable cryptocurrency that I had to obtain elsewhere

Had to do the same to get a russian proxy so the VK account wouldn't get immediately banned

But after hours of fruitless toil, I loaded up the proxy, dowloaded the credentials, logged in to VK, and was able to rip pretty much everything

bro yes them russians have everything .
Back in the days when i was a manga reader VK was the best source i think they have botss that scrap stuff immediately as they go up
