Did u know that this is the last year of the current "franchising" format? So basically because of that no team is going to ascend to the regional leagues (they are going to do a more open format starting next year) so to have a point for tier 2 and it not be even more dead

They made it so 4 teams that qualified from tournaments of each region gets into the play ins (and have an opportunity to go to champs if they make into playoffs and then get a qualifying spot)

Thats basically it

So far tier 2 teams been kinda mid in NA (They won against Cloud9 tho W hatewatch), Pacific and China but they been f***ing crazy in EMEA

3 out of 4 made it into playoffs (and because one match was tier 2 vz tier 2) and they eliminated Fnatic, Heretics and even today one tier 2 team beat Vitality
