he spent years and years studying a drawing method Ive always heard called point to point. its usually done for landscapes. its unusual to do it for figure drawings like he does
its also important to know, he learned how to do that, by drawing through building up and reworking stuff to the point where he can do everything in his head.
he said it clicked when he was in the military and couldnt draw, so he would spend hours imagining drawings in his head.
