Love love love tubes. If you're gonna be listening to a lot of hip-hop, I'd say go with a transformer-coupled (aka OTC) tube amp, or a hybrid tube amp if you just wanna dip your toes in the water.

Without getting into a bunch of boring technical s***, I'd stay away from OTL tube amps, even though they can be cheaper and are often recommended to beginners, purely because they only work with high impedance headphones and can really loosen up the bass (sounds good for some music, not for music that needs tighter bass)

Schiit Vali 3 is a very highly regarded option. Not even just for beginners, people just love the way it sounds, and it's one of the few hybrid tube amps that actually changes its sound when you swap tubes. Keep in mind that it's still gonna sound mostly like a regular solid state amp with some tube flavoring on top though.

yeh ive done meth and a lot of amphetamine, but nowadays it just makes me anxious. i wish i liked it more becuase its so accessible and rarely cut with anything like fent. probably just test it for contamination like mercury.

but alas, it is not for me i dislike how it makes me feel

if you dont take a lot its pretty chill and casual. just kinda has that 2 drink euphoria for 3 or 4 hours.

but if u go overboard its just anxiety for 12 hours straight lol
