this might be the thing that finally gets me off reddit forever

airpod pros are pretty good value for their features they're not about sound. good wired headphones add a totally different dimension tho

Yeah that's why I keep my pros 2

But I think it's worth investing in decent headphones or IEMs for when you're at home or at your desk at work or whatever

i am planning on getting getting new wired headphones for deeper listening. I used to use ATH-M50's all the time but I've been so locked into apple headphones since like covid times. I'm gonna jump into the IEM game and see what's out there I used to cop some chinese hi-fi stuff and listen thru a fiio

ath m50s were my headphones for like almost 10 years until the airpods came out.

but over ears over long periods make my break out around my ears, so once i got the pods i stopped using them

M50s a classic, only ever heard them a few times at shops tho

Chi-fi game has leveled up something crazy over the last five years, you can get some really crazy s*** for like $150

you can keep on yapping

what do you think about the perceived stagnation. or like from the perspective of superhero non-enjoyers like me seeing them just rehash things over and over and reboot with seemingly no creative integrity. like how many Spiderman or Batman re-tellings do we need? i just don't get the appeal for that

like i get the modern myth idea which is cool and the historical origins of the comics which i do respect but i feel like i see that less in less with the cash cow version of it (i dont see all the movies or anything though so keep in mind)
