Bruh some of those amtrak trains are so expensive it’s cheaper to fly but yeah for sure. NY/NJ actually has solid transit but we need st least every major city to have some solid transit somebody needs to start bribing

LA county started getting more trains slowly but surely I guess

give people options and u fix so many problems. health, traffic, air quality, walkability, livability, mental health, social stuff etc and more

They should put free housing on top of the graveyards and then to cover the cost they can make like ghost hunting shows in the free places

I think biggest issue with the south and midwest is you gotta drive everywhere if that was fixed people would be happier, healthier, and have more money

Nah America was the biggest and most innovative car country early on so when they were building out infrastructure in the west they really pushed to make it car centric to show off how amazing american cars were. I don’t Buy into the whole they want us to stay sick and unhealthy thing. Maybe social media companies but not the machine or whatever

over 90% of our stock market was trains in 1900 and we had the best most advanced connected system

we stopped cuz of the first paragraph while the rest of the world kept going. now cuz of greedy crapitalism we have the slowest high-speed rail in the world and most cities r car dependent suburban nightmares
